What Is Treatment Like?
Your first morning at New Path Behavioral starts with a sit-down assessment, and from there each day takes shape. You build a plan that fits you, move through scheduled therapy sessions, share meals, rest between groups, and stay connected with family who can join you along the way.
What Is Treatment Like, The Details
Your first day starts with intake. You sit down with a clinician, talk through your history, and answer questions about your health, your substance use, and what brought you here. From that conversation, the team builds a treatment plan that fits you, not a template.
Most days settle into a rhythm you can count on:
- Mornings usually begin with breakfast and a check-in about how you slept and how you're feeling
- Individual and group therapy sessions make up the bulk of the day
- Meals are provided, with real breaks built in between sessions
- Afternoons often include skills work, education groups, or one-on-one time with your counselor
- Evenings leave room for rest, reflection, or quieter group activities
Downtime matters here. You are not scheduled every minute, because some of the work happens when you have space to think.
Family is part of this too. When it makes sense for you, loved ones can take part in family sessions and learn how to support recovery at home. Plans shift as you progress, and your care team reviews yours regularly.
